Will 1 VPS be able to handle multiple proxies running with phproxy? There will also be a forum on the server, and a bunch of wordpress blogs.
It really depends on the script and the specs on the vps. If you are going to be doing alot, I would suggest getting a cheap dedicated. Also be sure to check if the VPS provider allows proxy sites.
https://www.servint.net/vps/details.php#essential I'm getting the $49 one, and it allows proxies. I may just have to limit the amount of proxies I have, and maybe keep some sites on my current shared hostgator account.
well, a popular proxy site may need a full dedi box or sometimes clustered setups...heavy resource hoggers!
If the proxy sites are quite popular and are getting good amount of traffic then it might be a bit difficult to run multiple proxy sites on a single vps.
