Soon by the end of this month I want to move from my current hosting provider and get a VPS or a Dedicated Server to provide Email Marketing Solutions to my customers.
I need to know what is the best solution to start with, a VPS or a Dedicated Server? I will send arround 50.000 - 60.000 emails per month to only optin lists that my customers will provide.

Thank you in advance for your helpful reply!

You could go with a VPS if you do not use it for any purposes other than email marketing. If you want to install other resource hogging applications, that would create problems depending on your VPS specs.

Please PM me if you would require my assistance.

50K - 60K email per month is fine for vps. However, you sent it once a month, or it's the total messages for all days? If each day, you send a part, it's one story. If you sent all at once, it's a totally different story. In the second case, you will need a big dedicated server, not a vps

you can actually send those 60k per day in your desktop. :p
assuming that you have an smtp server that allows such amount of mails.

Yeah, most have their limit for outgoing mails, so 60K per month is not a huge figure for a VPS with my current host, you can send them in batch of 500/hr usign your VPS account.
If you are looking for a reliable and honest host i will suggest you to try my host Webhosting.UK.com. Their service and support is excellent. :)

start with a vps and go for a dedi.
and I'm assuming its legit email marketing because if its spam, server providers do not like their ips blacklists and reported and they may terminate you.
