I just bought the smallest VPS hosting package at hostforweb.com
now I wonder how many accounts (or how much traffic) a VPS can take
altogether. It has 256MB ram and 208 MHz guaranteed.
I was told 5000 visitors per day should not be a problem is that true or
should I be prepared to upgrade?

208mhz wow, thats not alot - 5000 visitors a day will be a problem at some point of the day, and your server won't be able to take it, the ram will do for now.

If you need a VPS package, then please contact me.

    Thanks for the answers.
What specification would you recommend for 5000 visitors per day,
    and how much for 10000?
If you have an offer better than hostforweb with cpanel/whm,
and 24/7 support, contact me through PM.
I might be interested in dedicated server too if not too expensive.

well, lets say $100 for a dedicated server, but it's really hard to say,
since I don't have a feeling how much I would need or how many
accounts I could host on the server. The more accounts I would sell
the more budget I'd have :)

I Would stay FAR Away from LT, I've had very bad experience with them before. They don't care about you as a customer at all.

I highly recommend LiquidWeb.com as a hosting provider. They are a tad bit more expensive, but worth every penny.

If you're getting 5,000 uniques daily, you can surely monetize that traffic to generate $300+ per month and pay for a dedicated server.

Really? I heard they were a good company and their plans look good. I agree with LiquidWeb but they are pretty expensive.
