VPS - game Servers?

    Hello i am looking to run a old game on VPS server.

    Is this even possable.

    I dont think so since games needs too much memory even game servers cost like 200-300$ definately no game vps !

    Well i have been running servers this game is liek 8 years old haha no thats a lie.

    More of 6 but, min specs are 3 gb hard drive space and 116 ram or something.

    This is a very simple and old game and uses around 100 GB bandwidth max.

    I am just wundering if you had teh specs if you could.

    Also you are thinking dedicated server boxes you can rent servers off dedicated boxes which are basicly VPS.

    Please do reaspond if you still dis agree.

    I still dissagree.Theres huge difference between VPS and dedicated server.VPs is made in one server node and there are alot of other vps aswell on that node so it's kind of shared hosting although you get gurranted resources but on dedicated you have full server do whatever you want to do no one will stop you even if you use full ram processor etc;)

    Very true.

    You are right but on a good VPS server or VDS w,e you want to call it are said 2 work when i called support. It's better to go with a dedicated but when you are on a budget it may be best to do it on a VPS OR VDS is there a differnece?

    You can easily purchase cheap dedicated servers which will give you better quality and performance then VPS :) Personally i dont like vps i purchased vps once for my proxy and it went down Price was 50$ per month including WHM price then moved to server costing me 75$ server & my proxies work perfect on it :)

    Yes if we got a dedicated i would have nothing to stop me from going all out haha.

    I well contact a friend see if i can still get teh duo core 2.4 ghz and 8 GB ram for $100 haha. Helps to work for a few server companys here and there.

    I just hate the idea of me being 14 spending over $100 a month when i make just $200 haha.

    I need work on website that well really make me money off adsenes anyways thanks anyways i guess i well just see how that works out.

    We wouldnt run whm or cpanel we want just a small server.

    Yep,
    I recommend you not to run it since it takes too much memory server.Use control panel like webmin..:)
