VPN/Proxy Server Software

Hi,
I am looking to setup a vpn/proxy gateway on a vps/dedicated server so that the end user connects to the server then connects to the internet.. that way it looks like all activity is coming from the server ip opposed to the end users ip.

I've done some looking around but can't locate the exactly what i'm looking for.

I require software/script that allows user registration so not open to public, and if possible limit bandwidth per user account.

If you can provide any idea/suggestions/help please post a way.

There is a free script to implement a free web proxy server : PHProxy !
You can customize the code as you want.
There is not bandwidth management but you can set up this small code for each customer in order to get individual statistics.
You can automate a user registration through a CMS or a custom script.

This is the most simple solution i know to archive that goal.
Maybe you need a paid VPN software in the future.

To start with, PHProxy may be a good solution.

Did you find a solution for the VPN portion of your request? Also, Glype Proxy Script works really well as a proxy.

 

Or you can install squid if you are on linux server.
