Hi, I am new to PPC and I have noticed many people buying/selling Adwords vouchers. I was wondering if it is possible for people who do not use these vouchers to succeed in Adwords. It seems like it would be almost impossible to bid competitively on clicks if your competition is paying 5-10 cents on the dollar for advertising credit. Please give your thoughts on this issue.
Vouchers are horrible, they do indeed cause massive increases in CPC for PPC campaigns but it certainly is still possible to make money in almost any niche if you have the right landing page and CTR rates
One voucher per person. If you try to open other accounts with vouchers, you risk the possibility of getting banned. And yes you can make lots of money without vouchers. The people who repeatedly use vouchers risk banning and rip off Google shareholders. Just imagine if you owned a business. Would you want someone to keep getting freebies?
I think Google is at fault for offering these vouchers and allowing people to exploit them. I know they have recently been cracking down but there are still people using throw-away credit cards and vouchers to set up accounts. I have been worried about getting into the adwords game because I do not have a solid vcc/voucher supplier. I was worried that without a reliable supplier I couldn't be competitive. I think what really got me worried was when I saw John Chow on Top Affiliate Challenge pull out a handful of throw-away credit cards which he explained he used for gaming adwords. However, Gallito's words give me some encouragement
Vouchers can only be used once per account. I have many account and clients that have never used them and compete in the ranks and turn a healthy profit.
Yeah, that's the way they're meant to be used. But people exploit the system and open multiple accounts using throw-away credit cards. This is the issue. Awesome! That's very encouraging!
what is the maximum voucher we can get and why not use it for once and save money or to tedt a campaign.
I don't think it's such a big issue, as your limited to only one per account and if you try to create multiple accounts Google will find out.
I never knew there is limit one voucher per one account, but it seems logical. I have unused vouchers from my hosting provider, so I can use only one
I think Google should toughen their account verification procedure for Adwords, like requiring photo ID, phone verification, real credit card, etc.
The more people abuse vouchers, the more likely the program will be curtailed (e.g., reduced dollar amounts) or abandoned completely.
I use vouchers on multi accounts with VCC all the time and I tell Google what I am doing.. trust me Google dont mind so long as you keep the accounts open and actually spend money with them.. they dont like C/C fraud so by being open and transparent with Google I never have problems. As for it inflating PPC prices.. I seriously doubt it.. My $50 voucher will fund a new campaign for maybe 1 day - 2 days at most then I'm back to the same playing field as every one else.. paying with real money. So people who abuse the system will not get any lasting results. If you know PPC then you will always win the game.. instead of everyone moaning get with the program and use it to your advantage.. know the playing field, learn the tactics of the opposition and beat them at their own game! Simple. Trust me Adwords vouchers are here to stay.. the internet is afloat with $000,000's of vouchers from hosting companies etc..
I dont have cc... I tried VCC too once... But its failed to run my campaign... Also read somewhere on forum... Google never run campaigns for VCC
Not true.. so many people come out with all this rubbish about VCC being banned.. trust me I have many a/c with VCC.. but my VCC are relaodable not just cheap $5 VCC from websites generated from a C/C generator with no credit. It also helps if your a/c's are with a business domain not a free email a/c.
