Not switched 100% yet (still have an XP partition) but my primary OS "right now" is Linux Ubuntu 7.04, have 3 PC's. 2 with Ubuntu 7.04 and one with Linux Debian Etch 4.0.

I find Linux way more stable than Windows and I can do the job just fine.

I'm upgrading one of the 2 ubuntus PC's to 7.10 Gutsy right now (via update-manager before the big rush) and plan to upgrade the second one (my primary) in one or two more weeks.

    I'm still using Windows XP.

However, hopefully, I shall soon have a second PC on which I will install Linux.

If I had the money I would move to a Mac. This latter option is really the only one for those serious in graphics and webdesign.

I don't know about you guys, btut Linux is the easiest for me.
XP takes an hour or two to setup, while I can be offa nd running with my Linux system in less than 30 mins. Synapti, Awn, AmarOk FTW.

I respect the Mac OSX, but with mac you can't modify the software :)

I just upgraded one of my PC's (Celeron 2.4Ghz, 1GB RAM) from Ubuntu 7.04 to 7.10 Gutsy (update-manager -d). Boy this Gutsy is beautiful!. Not only for the Compiz-Fusion effects (much faster and better than Vista), anyway that is not important to me, the nice thing is 7.10 revived my Buffalo Wireless-G PCI card and working in WPA. Also the printer was automatically detected and working in seconds.

This new release is good for Linux, I can see good stuff coming in the future!.
