Hello, I am getting ready to hold another contest in the contests section here on DP and I am wondering what would be a better top prize? $75 cash via PayPal or 2 LLLL.com domain names. (Four letter .com) Domain names that will resell for a minimum of $75+ each and potentially be worth much, much more with time or to the right end user. The contest will be a promotion type contest. I was going to post this in the contest section but since it is not a contest I didn't think it would be appropriate. Thanks for your votes, GG
That's a tough one. I guess I would say the $75 paypal because it has a wider appeal. While the domain names may be worth more in the long run, not as many people would really know what to do with them.
Well, realistically, money is always better because it can be used for anything. When people see a free chance to get money, they will go for it! If they see domains, they may have questions or not want to be bothered with the transfer process, also they may not really have a worth for it and not want to take the time to resell. I say, go with the $75!
depends on the target group. If the winners are all webmasters and such, the domains would be of great worth to them.
I'm not really a domainer so I choose the $ but some may like the .com, maybe in the real contest you should specify the domains?
$75 Via Paypal.. Coz, not all guys want domain names.. And it all depends on what is the contest, if its a design contest, then you'll have to pay via Paypal..
