Vote script gives Error

    Vote button on my site TotalPad.com is really slow & sometime user has to click votebutton 2-3 times to vote. (& it turns so slow to 'voted button')
    totalpad.com is a pligg based site & runs on 9.6 version which is quite older version (the latest one is 9.9.5). Being the older version I am unable to get the support for this issue in pligg forum.
    Could anyone please help where the problem could be. I have seen sites like indianpad.com where vote button is very smooth & once user clicks on the button it turns to voted like charm.

    Actually there are a few options that you can consider...
    a) upgrade to the latest pligg version
    b) move your pligg files into a faster web server
    c) make sure that your pligg template takes as little resources as possible.

    if that is button, you should disable it when user click the first time; you should view this script, Submit Once , to understand disable property clearly.
