I thought it might be interesting,

I would like to find out how old everyone was when they first used a computer.

Not just press buttons and laugh, like babies. . Actually use a computer for a certain task or to look at something and know what it is and how you came to that point.

For me I first used a computer, I think, when I was 10 and it was a Commodor 64. I would play Froger, PitFall, Zork and other games!.. Wow, that really goes back...lol

So how about you?

You may need to define the word computer. LOL
The first computer I had was a Commodore Vic 20 at age 11 and by todays standards, it really was just a play thing. The next was a Zenith computer that weighed about 300 pounds and it had a whopping 64K and was loaded with Lotus 123. I bought it off a company at a auction for $25 when I was 14. It was great.

I guess if you talk today's standards, I was 19 before I ever used a real computer.

Around the same age as I learned to drive a car. 26ish. My first was windows 3.1 Leading Edge, 3600Baud.. etc. Compuserve.

it was sooo cool, it had everything, and it had it's own version of windows 95 and i remember that the whole pc was like a house, you went to the bedroom to do your homework, and the living room to watch a movie. you clicked on the TV in the living room ha ha oh boy i miss that pc. i still have the disks for it
