When I add pages to my site, I don't worry what the estimated pay per click will be. If the page is relevant to the site, I'll make it, and when traffic comes and if they click, I'll get what its worth. Worrying about high paying keywords is way too much stress.

I figure the only good measure is CTR. IF you have a 8-9% CTR, then you are golden, no matter what the pay per click is. If you have a .1%, then it doesn't really matter what the potential pay for each is since no one clicks it anyways.

Very true. At that point you have chosen your subject matter for that site, so it is what it is.

Traffic + High CTR = Good Return

I do not agree. I believe that you should strive to do the best with the traffic you have at the moment. Just think as if you have to pay for traffic you get. Would you want to keep buying more traffic and paying more or making more with traffic that you already have?

I believe that answer is obvious.

Every company is triving to increase ROI or conversion rate. For us, this is CTR. Just look at all the infomercials on tv, they test the market for best ROI then increase their advertising to get more eyeballs.

I belive CTR first then Traffic is the way to go.

Don't pay for traffic. A big no no. How do you knopw where it is coming form? It could be garbage-if you even get the traffic at all.

If you are buying traffic your traffic is already built, so it is a moot point.

    I don't buy traffic.

I don't think there's a problem with buying traffic from Google, Overture and such.

You can't be guaranteed traffic. Thats the proble. Overture can stick your site on page 5 or something and what are going to do baout it? You can't do anything.

THen no one will click on it and it doesn't cost you anything. I don't see a problem with that. Youwnat clicks, bid up your CPC, supposeing you can afford it

Of course there isn't a problem with it, if that's what you choose to do.

I think that if you're paying an average of 10c per click and is earning 20c visitor from those click, it is a wise decision to go ahead and pay for the traffic.

If you're not making more then you spend, then it would not be a good idea.
