Voice of India winner Ishmeeth Singh drowns in Maldives resort

Our local media is reporting The winner of last year's "Voice of India" singing competition, Ishmeeth Singh, drowned while staying at a Maldivian resort.

Some news channel say it because he went swimming in the sea and some say it happened in the resort

 

It actually happened in the resort where he was staying. Our media is on top of it.

 

You mean to say he drowned while swimming? How did he drown? Did he know how to swim or not, this case is really strange, if you ask my opinion !!

I just watched the news in Star news I am truly sad. My condolences to his family.

 

That someone who has won and all that, dies tragically.

 

This is really sad news. My condolences also.

 

Doesn't look a simple thing if he knows swimming then how can he drown? if not then why did he hit the pool?
Any way condolences for his family with big heart. May god bless them.

 

Well it is very sad news and he was just 18 years old boy. I seen his shows and he was excellent singer and I guess we lost a good voice.

Yeah i heard that tragic news on Star News...Really it came as a shock..He was just 18 and was really havin a amazing voice..

condolences for his family. Its just said on Tv he died of drowning- in a swimming pool ?? what is truth abt this mysterious death will unfold in a day or 2 . But we lost a potential singer

 

Well it will only able to know after few hours. He was taken hospital but he already dead at the time. He wasa great singer and I will miss his voice.

 

Yep saw it in News yesterday and everyone's been talking about it... Some say he got a Heart Attack [which I think is impossible coz he was only 19] ...

This is realy sad news for indian music industry.I am from his home town and you can't even imagine the reaction of people on this disaster, all the roads were block and thousands of people could be seen at his house and in his locality that has came down from all over punjab.
