    Thats not possible.
Why should vodafone do it openly ??

It should be a trick of somebody else and want those 2 big companies to fight between them.

 Seems very unlikely that vodafone would attempt to tarnish is image in this way. Could be some miscreants or is there something more to this than what meets the eye.........

Ya I agree with aspire. may be someone who hates airtel could have done this or may be some prankster has done this.

As far as these both are concerned, then AIRTEL rocks for me.

How this is possible. i think Vodafone bought the Spain airtel, because as per domain registrant is showing Vodafone Spain address. When i try to googling i got lot of information about Airtel spain operator. try yourself..

Nothing of this sort has happened.

There was a mobile company by the name "Airtel" in Spain. Vodafone bought the company and changed its name to "Vodaphone Spain".

Thus airtel.com is redirecting to Vodafone's Spanish site.

On second thoughts, Looks like, the copyright infringement is being done by Airtel :) .. since it appears that the teh AIRTEL that vodafone bought also looks very old :)

    Airtel India's real url is

    www.Airtel.co.in and not Airtel.com

So this has nothing to do with Vodafone India or Airtel at all

I agree that's very strange behaviour for a big company like Vodafone - - the strangest thing is that it actually redirects to vodafone.es - Spain - why wouldn't they redirect to their .com ?

    Weird
