Hello DP members! Just want to briefly make an introduction of myself. My name is Vladimir (Volodya in short), I'm from Moscow, Russia, but currently live and work in Barcelona, Spain. I'm into online marketing, webmastering and affiliating since 2007 I would say... Well, things started when my first PC's video adapter died and I couldn't play video games anymore, more or less at the same point of time I was lucky to purchase my first iPod and faced some operational issues. Obviously, I started to google for fixes and understood there was no Russian iPod community, everything was in English. Few people speak English in Russia, so I thought I could spend my free time (I was a learning in school at that moment) creating a community of iPod owner and Apple fans. I had small experience in graphical design, coding and HTML, but finally I built all on my own the largest russian-speaking forum iPoding.ru which was mentioned by iPodLounge (iLounge). Apple inc also wanted to contribute with Russian fans via the portal. Never the less I had to sell the project in 2010 and move on. This all gave me a clear vision that the Internet is the thing! In 2008 I started my career in Parallels (http://www.parallels.com) as an affiliate marketing manager for Parallels Desktop for Mac software. Later on added email marketing and product marketing to the responsibilities list. The second big company was Buongiorno - the biggest mobile content provider and it was my first step into mobile marketing. Era of iPhones and mobile web surfing began. Later I joined the biggest Russian affiliate marketing company CityAds where was the Head of Mobile. During all that time I tried different types of CPA offers as an affiliate and did media buying. Nowadays I'm developing business for RGK Mobile - mobile content provider and m-payment aggregator, and am looking for new partners around the globe to offer them a White Label mobile content subscriptions business model. Vlad = Vladislav, Vladik, Slava, Slavik Vladimir = Vova, Volodya, Vovka, Vovchik Don't worry, most people won't have a clue what you're taking about when it comes to your name. Anyway, feel free to contribute to this forum. You seem to know quite a bit when it comes to web development, programming and affiliate marketing.
