Visual mode unavailable on home page only

    Hello, i'm really pulling my teeth out with this one.

    On my home page i can't seem to edit in visual mode, therefore am unable to load in images or anything, change colour of text by having the options available above my text. I am restricted to html and it's proving very difficult to position things, it's also time consuming.

    It is only the home page, does anyone have an ideas as to what my rectify this or what may have caused it.

    If it helps, the home page is also not logging any page revisions, it's very strange

    the cant make WYSIWYG edits because there are fragments of html. not formattable html. maybe you can have a sandbox page (a page where you just play with formating and look at the html).

    long answer short. learn html.
