I'm in the process of some research regarding the effectiveness visual advertising in the form of presentations, videos and cartoons have on different age groups (18-60) And what would draw the different age groups to visual advertising. If any of you have any personal experience from projects regarding this topic please share and comment ^-^

Animations would be great for advertising especially for product based advertisements. It makes it appealing as compared to text advertisements.

If you look at the top converting sites on ClickBank, most of them have video on the sales page. The more interesting the video, the longer the prospect is likely to stay on the page. The longer they stay on the page, the more likely they are to buy.

You might get some good research by starting off on Youtube. A top selling product on Clickbank called "The Truth About 6-pack Abs" uses some animation and video on their site. And it sells really well.
