VistaDreams.org - $1,845+ Revenue in 5 Months and Over 2,435+ Registered Members!

Hello,
I am selling the website VistaDreams.org – The website has a community of over 2,435 members.

The website is dedicated to providing visitors with free and premium Windows Vista DreamScene Dreams. In case you’re not sure what a Windows Vista Dream is, it is an animated wallpaper for the Windows Vista Ultimate Edition operating system.

The “Dreams” can be in the .mpg, .wmv, or .dream file formats. The website provides visitors with downloadable “Dreams” (animated desktops) to use on the Windows Vista operating system.

There are two types of Dreams (animated desktops) on the website available to visitors - The Free Dreams and the Premium Dreams. The free dreams are available to registered members of the website. The premium dreams are available to PayPal subscribers to the website only.

Revenue Details
The revenue for the website has been excellent. All revenue generated from the website has been from Premium subscribers. When the website first opened there were three levels of subscription (Quarterly, Annually and Lifetime). Here is how many subscribed to the membership plans and how much they each cost:

As of this moment the website still has 82 active subscribers!

Furthermore, since July 2nd, we decided to simply have 1 subscription (a monthly subscription of $5/month) for access to all the premium dreams. Already four new people have signed up to this new plan!

So far, since the website opened in February it has generated over $1,845. This is in just 5 months! And because it is a subscription, most of the premium members are paying a continuous fee which means the revenue generated by the website never stops!

Traffic
Traffic has been quite good as well. The website does not pay for any traffic. Most traffic comes from friends, other websites and search engines such as Google. The website is well ranked for many search terms. It is on the first page of Google for “Vista Dreams” for example.

All this is with only basic search engine optimization. With further search engine optimization the websites potential could increase dramatically!

The website gets 2,382,893 HITS (not page loads) and 21,337 unique visitors every month.

The Dreams (Animated Desktops)
The Dreams are made by a team on the website called the “Dream Doctors”. There is no reason at all why they would stop making dreams for the website if the website was sold to a new owner, so you can be safe to assume they will most likely continue making dreams for the website – but as always it is impossible to know for certain.

At the moment they do not charge for their services and I am not sure if in the future they will change their minds. Remember, dreams are not really that hard to make. Dreams are only videos. Plus, with the amount of revenue the website makes anyway, paying them (or anyone else) to make dreams shouldn’t be a problem.

With the release of Windows Vista still being only relatively new, the potential in the future of this website is huge! Hundreds of more people are buying Windows Vista every day and every day this increases the chances of your website receiving new subscribers!

The only reason I am selling this website is because I am far too busy with my education and other business projects to continue working on the website. I am hoping that through this sale, a new owner can provide a much better experience for the site than I can right now.
