I have Windows 7 Professional "not beta version". Wiped my pc from that Vista Crap, and now I have a real pc once again. Vista was the worst load of crap, Microsoft should have paid me money for having to put up with it. Windows 7 Pro is fast, no bugs and a huge improvement. It pays to have a technet subscription, I could have put Windows 7 Ultimate instead of Pro, but the only difference is some encryption feature that I did not need and could slow things down. I suggest you get this O.S and be rid of Vista which is a Millenium clone.
i would go for windows 7.. but being a new OS... other softwares may not b always compatible.... so its not the best time yet to upgrade to windows 7 !
I think we have heard enough about how bad windows vista is , I would recommend Windows 7! Most people still use windows XP anyways
I installed Windows 7 Ultimate and is wonderful. It works as well as XP worked before using vista. Win7 is a very good option!! All drivers from Vista were ok with 7.
I personally use Vista too but I prefer other OS that Vista coz their are instances wherein I need something like an update to a game and they are not compatible with Vista...At the same time Vista always needs update and it is something irritating...
Just wait for few more days, you can get a full version itself Microsoft is gonna release Win 7 on October 22nd
I have Windows 7 RTM (Retail), and I have to say that I love it. I had XP, and wouldn't go to Vista because I didn't like it. Windows 7 rocks though.
I sure Hope Win 7 is better. I still can't think of a reason to upgrade an existing machine however. XP still does everything I want it to do just fine. But I only use my Network Machines for business so I don't push them very hard. It's my understanding there will be a 32 bit and 64 bit versions. I see no point in a 32 bit version and Microsoft has not exactly won me over with their 64 bit OS support in the past You would think they would work primarily on the 64 bit OS to get past memory bottlenecks.
Windows 7 Is incrediblely fast, even x64 version doesn't cause hassle like the xp x64 or vista x64 with application and driver problems.
