    what about WIN 7 - its due out soon that should make a whole bunch more of these threads start up - so far its XP for me but also mac and linux sometimes ...

    I prefer windows 7 over both of them. I'll be sad when they make us testers buy it though :(

    I have Vista now and so far I have experienced a few problems, some programs or games are not running properly, but I like the design much more. XP is also good, depending for what you will use your OS.
    I think both are good enough, and depends on the person which one to choose.
