Which one is the best to use operating system keeping in mind all the speed, accessibility and many other factors? XP or Vista
Vista was very unstable on my laptop and I had a lot of problems (compatibility, settings, ...) with the system. XP is a better choice in my opinion.
Still enjoy XP .. for cost effectiveness .. because i've use it for some years .. upgrade to vista? not yet to think about .. because it isn't that much different to XP. XP still the most popular .. more than 60% window users still use it.
Why is this posted under the Microsoft seach engine (bing) category? And why ask "XP or Vista" when Windows 7 is right around the corner and the question is mute? Is it just to post a question, and just to post a post? Shall I post the thread, "What meal do you prefer, breakfast, lunch, or dinner?"
hehehe.. ..funny thing... ...but I prefer using vista as I wont use any software or any application. . .vista is attractive too.. ..
I have used both the systems on my PC , but the one I like the most is XP only. Its very easy to operate XP rather than Vista.
I've been using Vista Home Premium for a year now with no problems. It has never crashed on me or caused compatibility problems. SP1 and SP2 fixed all the horror stories you heard about Vista. XP is still a fine choice, but Microsoft will stop supporting it soon. Don't bother with Windows 7 until they release some service packs for it.
Xp is better for me but I am still waiting for windows 7 and when it comes I am going to upgrade my system.
I sincerely prefer XP. I wish MS would stop "upgrading" operating systems every few years. Software compatability issues are enough of a hassle when you have 10-12 machines running on the same OS. They become a lot more of problematic when we're forced to change. There's really no good reason for it. I'd have been happy if they still just slapped System Restore on Windows 3X.
my laptop came with Vista Business edition and the updates I've been receiving have made it quite difficult to crash. Curious about Seven. The buzz says it's feature-rich like Vista but function-geared like XP. Can't wait for reviews
