Vista and ie7 work fine for me! Just ensure you have at least 2mb of memory as vista is ram hungry. if you have less than 2mb ram you can use a usb memory stick to improve the performance. just plug in an empty stick and vista offers you the choice of storage or improved performance.
RAM is cheap, computers are evolving. Don't like it? Stick to Windows 98 on Pentium 2 Nobody's forcing nobody to upgrade, buy Vista and so on.
I agree. Unlike those old days where 32mb ram was considered to be HUGE size. People these days have same 32mb thinking. Entire hardware cost has come down drastically, 1GB ram is now just 1000rs [25$] can any one have imagined this couple of years back? same ram two years back would have cost much much more then what it is now. It is still a personal choice and I don't regret using Vista, In fact I love it.
I have had no problems with Vista. But I did buy a system souped up with it out of the box. Most of the problems reported were from systems upgraded from XP or Win2000. These were disasters. But I've had zero problems with Vista (32-bit version). Even old software runs fine.
Yup, it'll be great for people with computers from the 1800's. Me, I like Vista, mind you I have a pretty nice, new computer.
I think Vienna wil be tremendously good, just making a guess, because Microsoft Vista did really poorly with reviews, I mean its no secret ;p, Apple focuses on Vista's problems, I think Microsoft is gonna make sure its better then XP & Leopard, so I am def anxious to see whats in store.
Haven't tried Windows 7 so can't really comment...can't waste time installing those crappy beta/leaked releases.
I always get blue screens with Vista but thats because I'm too lazy to update my drivers. As for people comparing the amount of system resources required to run vista my response is that it only makes sense that you would need up-to-date hardware to run an up-to-date operating system. I like vista better than xp. And will update to 7 when it comes out.
Window 7 is update version than Vista. Since Vista has lots of complains, so, I think, MS is trying to resolve those problems in Window 7.
