Last weekend I installed Vista on my my Dad's HP Pavilion dv6000 and now it won't sleep. After some testing I've found the culprit, Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2000 as long as that is plugged in the computer will not sleep. Under XP there were no problems with that but it is with Vista. Ideas?

won't sleep, why? are you trying the stand by!!
sometimes the graphics driver makes a problem, then it dose not sleep as well.

just the other one said, xp is too good to change! i don't feel there is any reason to stay with vista! get back to xp:D

Vista is in its early stages, and still has a lot of debugging to do..Keep in mind that XP is nearly 5 years old, that means 5 years of constant updates and all kinds of stuff.. However I have never heard of your problem before..

What version of vista do you have.. there are just to many lol..
