I am using Vista X64. Every night I put the computer to sleep, but it almost always wakes up for some reason. How can I find out what is bringing the beast to life?

goto properties on the desktop then explore all the options there. u will find power options there under screensaver. Just change the options there.

Yeah, you'd get better results at a forum specifically for PC help and issues.

It is the mouse, whenever the mouse moves a tiny bit, the computer wakes up -

Solution: Turn the mouse upside down. :)

    W00T for the 0DD solutions!

Name of topic very funny. Vista can't help - destroy brain only.
Can you see, that in Vista "My computer" renamed "Computer"?
This is her computer only. Not your :)

I'm glad it says "Computer" and not "My Computer"; I'm ashamed of Vista >.<

Unfortunately I lost my copy of XP along with my old Desktop!

Do to device manager and check to see if your keyboard and mouse isn't waking up your computer white it's on sleep.
