Vista Black Screen of Death Fix

Hi All

Ever powered up your Windows Vista machine and been presented with a black screen and nice white cursor and CANNOT do anything?

This is what's known as the Vista Black Screen of Death (KSoD)

Well BEFORE you prepare for the "format and reinstall" tactic have a look at my Vista Black Screen of Death (KSoD) guide.

I spent ages trawling Google / forums / You tube etc to come up with a decent answer to this common problem and decided to put a guide together.

just upgrade to windows 7 and problem solved. ;0)
