I have Vista Premium installed on my laptop and it works perfectly. I bought this computer for under 1000 USD. Vist does not suck. Its the best OS ever created. If it did so many companies would not be upgrading so quick and not wating the usual year as they generally do.

Yeah I agree. I had to upgrade my RAM so that I could get some good out of Vista.

Vista is just like XP used to be. When it came out it sucked, after a few SP's it was good. While the amount of resource hogging Vista does disgusts me, and I can't really see any advantage to having it over XP, I think people will eventually switch because MS will make it packaged with every new computer.

man, you sound so funny, where all top manufacturer had recommended at of 1gb of Ram to run Vista smoothly. U claimed you only run with 765 of Ram and its much faster .....so what machine r u using? alien?

Vista need at least 1gb of ram, put on 2gb to really enjoy vista....

As much as I hate to say this (Because I hate vista all together) looks included! but 1GB is required and yes 2GB will cruise your performance at load time of the applications, and yet I have to say they don't support media drives....or is this out of my league and I am not up to date yet?

Any who, I run a 765 as well on an AMD processor with XP but will never and would never think about placing Vista on this HD :p My mom has it on hers and as well my aunt and they love it, but of course like reuben said it runs better and cleaner on 2GB which is what they run as well on a dual processor...

I have two and it runs perfectly. When I do plan to get ultimate I will get 4 however.

I think Ultimate is only necessary for Desktop multi stations though. I see no need for Ultimate on a laptop unless you are doing HD editing or some other high end job.
