What is a good amount of visits to have per visitor?

For one forum I had 3.03 and the other 1.5. What is the average amount and what would you say is a good amount that shows you're doing things the "right way" of getting return traffic?

DP is probably 20-30 pages per visit per visitor

Well, I didn't mean pageviews, but rather, return visitors. A visitor who returns X.X amount of times to your site.

Also, this was initally meant placed in forum management, so it was understood I was reffering specifically to forum traffic.

Ok, Sorry, I misunderstood your original question, and as far as an answer, I think it really depends on the site. Just keep trying to increase visits per person. :D

I think the average page loads on visitor is 7-9. But this is for quality web pages and it indeed depend from nature of page.
