Visits Not being recorded?

    Hello analytics gurus
I have just recently started using socialoomph to automate my twitter accounts and they have installed a url shortening service of their own. Now when I look at their stats - yesterday 1 url recorded 59 clicks but - when I got o GA it shows 1 visit. Who should I believe? Its a wordpress blog with the google analyticator plugin installed so I think the site/GA end is set up ok.

    Any ideas?

My guess would be that the 58 clicks were all bots. Twitter gets a LOT of hits from bots.

What "magda" says might be right too ! But according to me Google analytics is not much accurate. I use statpress plugin and the difference between statpress and GA is around 100 visits.

Like GA displays that my blog received 50 visits but the same statpress shows 150 visits.

Why do people always rush to say GA is innacurate because it shows them less than another source?
The other source is showing bots and hits, where Google is showing genuine visitors.

GA is acurrate. Tells you the REAL visitors you have. if you have wordpress make sure it is installed on the main template. by any chance do the stats how the average time on the site? if they where bots most likely it will be super low.
