Try adding site to social bookmark sites. Add url to directories and forums related to site topic.

i think you should try... with

    1. directory submission
    2. article submission
    3. forum posting

these three methods can definitely increase your visitors

    Hey,

This is, like, the age old question. When I first entered the
scene a few years back, there were a lot of methods that
weren't available then as there are now.

Here is a list of some:

Forums are great (find one in the topic of your site, it's
easy, type into your search engine: "[topic] forums" and
    you'll find plenty.

Article submissions are also great for getting both
credibility and links back. They give you a chance to be
placed on other sites as well, depending on the niche.

Here's one that you could try, as well. Write a report (small
one) and make it a free PDF. Then you have worlds of
options. You can post it in the signature of your forum
posts, bookmark it at social bookmarking sites, add it to
the bottom of your articles, and so on. This not only offers
more information to build credibility and whatnot, but also
gives you a chance to create a list.

Start putting videos of your niche (if you know a lot about
    it) on social video sites.

Blog comments are also very very useful. You might not
have a good chance of building pagerank, but if you were
to find some popular blogs to comment on them, the click
through traffic, plus good information on your site, could
    generate a decent reader-base.

Anyways! I hope these helped you out at least a little! Take
    care!

Trying, TRYING to get listed in the search engines, and posting in message boards are sure as hell not the answer. If you want consistent, quality traffic and you want a lot of hits, no matter how you look at it, you are going to have to pay for ads. But you don't have to empty your savings account to do it, either.

If you haven't already, start off with cheap pay per click ads. Start off with advertising in as many search engines as you can, and websites that have reasonable rates. Davesdaily.com is such a site.

Determine how much money you want it to go towards advertising. Let's say, it's $500. Spread that money out to the most likely sources you think will bring you in at least a few bucks profit. $50 to Google. $50 to Yahoo. $25 to the smaller engines. $200 to a site like DavesDaily.com....

(Before placing the ads, get others to critique them. Would they click on such ads?)

Hopefully you will not only get your money back but a reasonale profit on top of that.

Take that money and reinvest ALL OF IT back into the sources that made you profit. Even if you made only a few bucks, screw it, do it anyway. It adds up at the end of the month when you pay the bills!

Again, hopefully you will get your money back, along with a profit.

    Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

If you are too broke for the initial $, go get a part-time job or put your sister or girlfriend out on the street.

Once you are on your financial feet for more sources, look for bloggers to blog about your site. Do a search for the most popular blogs. But be careful. Some bloggers are full of themselves and will charge you a ridiculous price. JohnChow.com is one of them. Although I advise others to take a look at his site on how to be more successful, blogging or not, he is still full of himself. He charges $400 for a review!

One can easily lose their shirt! Granted, he has around 275,000 monthly visitors, which is why he is so full of himself, but practically all don't read his reviews. I mean, come on, think...why would they? Would you read a review? If so, how many would you read? Would you read them all???

On top of that, you have to get his readers to click thru to your site. THEN, you have to get them to buy. How many sales will you have to make to get your $400 back?

I would pay no more than $200, and ask him to keep the review up on the homepage for a month. That is very reasonable, and it is a chance for an advertiser to make at least a little bit of money. If he, or such a blogger won't, pass!

Here are a couple of services that may help you if you are having a hard time finding bloggers. They are a bridge between bloggers and advertisers.

    PayPerPost
    Smorty

The more bloggers talking about your product, the higher your odds in getting more sales.
But watch that money going out versus coming in (paying these bloggers, and being able to recoup through sales)!

If you wanna do it the free way - posting on forums, social bookmarking, social networking etc. will bring traffic. But if you stop, the traffic dies down so you have to keep doing it :/
for constant traffic without working everynight at it, you need ads. *not free*

Do a search here on DP. you'll find loads of threads about how to get traffic. This question gets asked everyday.
