I got a really nice site, lots of people are return visitors coming back for tons of page views. But a little over 50% of the people who come, only stay for 0-30s according to AwStats... I need some tips on how to increase this? I got one shot at them to click more pages.. they're coming for music videos, and usualyl the music videos right in front of them to click and watch..
As you might know you only have a few seconds to catch the visitors interest, and in this case it might be that they do not see any videos that they are interested in when first coming to your site. I had a look at your site, and I think it looks good, and the feature with the Latest content on the index site is great. But maybe you should have like categories somewhere, so if a visitor comes to your site and want to see Rap videos and all he sees is some rock artists, maybe he just go away, not all offcourse but you might loose some. //Andreas
That's actually typical for most websites. People don't read content. They skim it. Also, since your music videos are hosted on YouTube, people may be leaving your site just to watch the video directly on YouTube's site (for example, if the embedded player doesn't work).
