    Looking on the log of my server I have accidentally found this trace:

    User-Agent:  6,0 Explorer
    IP address:  216.239.58.136.
    Code (markup):
    This is the geo registry for to the address:

    US, CA, Mountain View,94043,37.419201,-122.057404,807,650, "GOOGLE"," GOOGLE "
    Code (markup):
    =======================

    Moreover, the client did not use the Javascript.

    To you speculations and conjectures.

    Maybe google employees are also humans (when at lunch break, while at work they're super computers indexing everything they see) and they might actually surf the web once in a while.

    Or.... Maybe its google bot saying its IE 6.0 to detect cloacking.

    It could be a google employee with no JS.

    Or google checking for cloaking by faking the user agent.

    I have people from MS buy from me sometimes. They are humans too, and shop online in their free time. I wouldnt' be so concerned if someone at google were shopping at my site. I'd love for them to buy something too. I've sold to MS, Yahoo, Defense Dept, and a few other big places, google would be cool :)

    Maybe a spot-check for AdSense TOS compliance? That is, if you're running AdSense...

    I noticed a hit or two as well, a couple days ago.
