hii From Google analytics ,i found that Visits for my site has drastically come down in one week.I had good visitor traffic a before that. My referral traffic has increased than the search engine traffic. can anyone suggest me ideas so that i can gain my traffic again
Have you also noticed a drop in rankings? Depending on which vertical you're in, search volume can fluctuate quite a bit. Did you recently stop running PPC ads or any other form of advertising - or is the majority of your traffic from organic search rankings?
I was wondering if you got most of the traffic from referral sites or organic search engines? If traffic from referral droped, it may be because your links from some referral sites was deleted or ranked lower that before. If traffic from organic search engines droped, your site might have been penalized for some reason. You got to find out what is the problem first and then figure it out. Another case is probably due to fluctuation, in this case no need to worry at all and I believe everything would be back on the right track soon.
You can see which keywords were giving you more traffic and what's your rank. You can promote your site with these keywords in anchor text.
