I'm not 100% sure if this is the right forum, but here goes...

My company Renowned Media has just released RenownedStats, which is a statistics tracking PHP/MySQL web application, for the cost of (USD) $10.00.

You're probably thinking, "So what, Analytics is free and this forum is about search engines." Well, this statistics application, unlike Analytics, doesn't use JavaScript to find out information on your visitors, it is all done on the server side.

What this means is that you can see the entry point of ANYTHING visiting your website, such as crawlers or search engines, see the paths they take to get around your website, etc.

This can also be used for controlling SPAM on your website (this tracks IP addresses which you can use to block). Often times I'll see someone on one of my website hitting the contact form over and over again, once every six hours. So, I'll block that IP address and email spam will go down.

If you suspect someone is scraping all of the content from your site, this can be used as well. If you see a user session with thousands of page views, in a sequential order, you know you've probably got a problem.

I'm thinking... "So what, AWStats is free and can be found in cpanel and this forum is not BST."

No, it's not. GA only tracks a percentage of all traffic. They have some great tools there, but if they are not tracking every single visitors, to me they're useless.
