    Hi

Please can someone suggest a solution to a site that is haemorrhaging organic traffic? The problem started in July. Since then I have witnessed a gradual decline across all the major search engines. Last month we had 33% fewer visitors than we did in April.

    Other observations:
No changes were made to the site.
The decline does not appear to be seasonal.
I have been steadily creating articles, blog posts, and links.
I have been doing loads of tagging using stumble upon, technorati, etc

    Any ideas?

Keep updating your site regularly and also keep adding new backlinks. It was only temporarily, because Google always adjusting and refreshing their index. Your site will return after some times

This can be a major problem. I have seen visits drop off dramatically when I do not update a site regularly. I'm not sure of the theory behind this. Maybe the spiders stop coming when they do not see new content. You are creating articles and blogging but what are you doing on the site? Do you change the home page regularly? Add new content? Products?
