Very plain and simply you need to change the theme and kill the blogroll and other links going away from your site.
Your content is tragted and its a good start, you have niche in your blog, but i suggest you to put a light them and make a little changes on your theme style to make your blog attractive. Also as Genius911 said, remove the links in the blogroll because they may be a reason to make your visitors go away. Good luck
Website looks like a typical information site (not a bad thing, but also not a good thing). Seems like there is good information. I do advise some pictures to make it more lively.
along with what other people have said I would like to ask how are the sites in your Recommended sites list related to your site? And if you want my honest opinion they make your site look untrustworthy and makes people think that the only reason the site is there is to make money from selling ads or stray clicks.
