Do you plan to monetize the site? If so, how do you plan to do it? You could add some Adsense ads or Amazon (or whatever would work best) to the right column under the archives. Another option would be to put a SMALL rectangular adsense banner between each set of articles - which would create a breakpoint for the eyes and create a separation. You've accomplished that with the photos, too, if you don't want to add any ads
