    Hello all.
I'm all new to this forum, and let me tell you, I have never seen so many interesting articles in one place:) I'm gonna hang here for quite a few hours.
Now, I would really like som advise from you, if possible.
I started my blog back in January, and I'm pretty satisfied with it so far (well, you always feel you could do better tho). But how do I spend my money the best, if I want more traffic to my site? Any of you got experience in that field? Is it crucial that I move my blog from celebskank.blogspot.com to it's own domain?
I don't have a lot of money to do this, so it would be nice with something not too expensive:)
Another thing is, that even tho I get around 700 visitors pr. day, my Alexa rank still sucks (almost 6 mil... :( ), I just wonder if I really need to try and change that rank, if it's not all that important (except I would like to have ads from Text Link Ads...)
Anywho, advise and suggestions will be well recieved. Just remember I'm farely new to the blogging business!
    Best regards Mia:D

There's tons of advantages of a real domain. Looks more professional, easier to remember, more customization and more opportunities to expand your website.

However, the hosting and domain also costs money, but if you've made some money on your blogspot blog then it would definitely be a good investment.

If you want to stick with your blogger blog, that's okay too. There's packages you can buy in this forum that send hundreds of thousands of bots and generated traffic to your blog that's only good for Alexa ranking. I personally wouldn't recommend it, but I guess if you really want to get your ranking up then it would be worth it.

Good luck with your blog any-hoo.

Domain fees are usually done yearly, around $10 or so. Basic hosting fees run around $7-$10 per month. It's not very expensive at all. Do shop around though and try to get a quality host as well as a good price.

I don't know if it helps or not, but have you put up the Alexia widget on your blog? I'm getting a nice Alexia rating even though I have low traffic (compaired to what I hear others get). I don't have much experience with Alexia so I'm not sure what you can do.

Thank you both:) I think I need to shop around for a good domain name, but can I move my blog to a new domain, and still keep it all the same? (Im sorry if Im dumb, but Im hoping to learn)

Your actual content can be migrated over if you're using Wordpress on your host (that's what I use, don't know about other options). The actual 'look' or theme of your blog will change. You can put exactly the same banners, widgets, etc onto the new blog, but the look will change, unless you want to pay someone to custom design a theme for you.

Yes, you can move from a blogspot to your own domain. I did in June from destyonline.blogspot.com to www,destyonline.com

    Wordpress does it automaticly.

    1) get your own domain.
    2) get more content that people want (fresh/ new)
    3) market your blog/socially.

Rinse, repeat (except for the domain part :) )
