Hello. I have a visa gift card and I added it to my paypal account. My sending limit is still $0, but the card went through. Did I do something wrong. It's a US paypal account. Thanks.

Did you go through the expanded use program?

They charge $2 or something to your credit card, then you check your statement (there should be one online because its a visa gift card), then you see that they charged you $2 and there should be 4 numbers before the word "PAYPAL", that is your expanded use number.

They would charge the Gift Card $1.95 and ask you a 4 digit expanded use number, which you can find in the Statement of the card.

Did you click on Get enrollement number or something like that? IF not then do it and you will see a 4 digits code here (Your User panel). PayPal charges 1.95$ and As we all can see there is no such amount so it means you didn't click that enrollment program (whatever it is).

Oh thanks. Also, why did paypal charge me 3 dollars? They charged me $1 3 times as you can see in the screenshot.

You havent enrolled into PayPal's Expanded Use Programme. Enroll into it and they'll charge $1.95 to verify the ownership of the card.

This number is seen on the statement.
