viruses

    I've herd that Macs are IMMUNE to the viruses that plague my P.C.

    Is this true?

    And if it is

    Why on earth isn't Apple shouting it from the Rooftops?

    Immune is not really the case, less targeted is probably more likely since XP is widely used accros the world.

    Why place this topic in Suggestions & Feedback?

    All the E-Mail virus senders make viruses for Windows since they make up some where around 95% of the internet users. Were not 100% proof, but I can open those E-Mail viruses and look at them! For example that LOVE-LETTER-FOR-YOU file a few years ago.

    Exactly. Not immune... if there WAS an OS that was immune it would be the #1 OS right now and the only one being bought. But that isnt the case.

    If any OS is the closest to being 'immune' it would need to be the UNIX OS's since it is open source
