It looks like you got a trojan on your computer. Try a better antivirus to remove that from your PC. I use Norton 360 and really have no problem at all.

Thats because you never had something saying " you have a virus " see no evil hear no evil, dangerous strategy

OP you cant go wrong with NOD32 , run a system scan with spybot too it could and most probably is just spyware

I now know what caused this. I watched some free movies online last night with some questionable pop ups... i checked my yahoo email just a second ago but when i refreshed the page, the notification came up with that /\unp.. thingie :(

Is Norton 360 free? Pls suggest some free antivirus/spyware removers.

    Thanks

Try avg for antivirus and antispyware, the free versions do the job well enough.
Run them both while you're in safe mode to start with so all the crap is completely removed.

The guys is already using avast if you can read the screenshot. I'm using Kaspersky, and it keeps things under control or at least so it seems. It depends alot on what kind of web surfer you are. I myself can hardly remember the last time I had a virus or trojan on my computer.

Hmmm.... piracy and Norton 360 is not free but since you watch "free movies" I bet u can get "free Norton 360"

Get a Popup Blocker too. Well nowadays Good browsers have pop up blocker built in.
    Good Luck :D
