Go to safe mode and try to kill the virus otherwise you must format your hard drive.

    Some info:

Use a advanced task manager like 'SREng' and find the hidden one.
    Stop new tasks.
    End your virus task.
    Delete it.
    Un-Stop new tasks.

Note: for a advanced virus, you should use a anit-virus

Try malwarebytes or boot into safe mode by pressing F8 as soon as the computer reboots and then select safe mode and let trend run and it should find it and be able to remove it, if not try and find the path and delete it by hand or use spybot search and destroy to delete the file on reboot

Make sure that you aren't running more than one antispyware at a time. It could seriously mess up your computer.

No. keep in mind after a malware is infected reinstalling the virus guards and updating those don't solve your problem, because after the malwares changed the registry values virus guards cannot change those back to the previous state. Please first identify the abnormalities of your system and manually correct those. Its the best way to do it. After correcting each you can install some recommended virus guard. I use Hijackthis to recognize the abnormal behaviors of the system. Its little bit difficult to read and understand the Hijackthis log file. If any of above answers don't help you to resolve the trouble please post the HiJackthis logfile here. I'll help you to read it.

to remove this. install Malwarebytes then run system scan, install an antivirus like Nod32 or Avst! is the best choice, then run boot scan if you are using avast!. this will remove all Virus, tojan, malware and spywares then install HostGuard to prevent malwares, virus, trojans from infecting your machine again..

yes i agree with Malwarebytes but Malwarebyts cant protect your system alone. you will need to install Antivirus and a good firewall. i have a review on Free windows Firewall since i have multiple computers and tested it can be found here..also i would also recomend a good antivirus like Nod32, Avast is also good since it can perform bootscan..but let me remind you that the only safe computer in this world is the computer unplged from the network and guarded my marines and delta force :D,. in short we are not safe from attacks. so you need to be updated always so that you can protect your system and data's..

Hello glad I can help I am A+ certified so surely these instructions can help.

Download avast antivirus (you can get pro for free I just can't tell you how) but the home version is free you can get it from download.com

Now once installed right click the avast icon on the taskbar bottom right and click "Start avast! Antivirus"

Now click on the top left arrow pointing up and select "Schedule Boot-Time Scan" then just hit schedule and your computer should restart.

Once it boots up a blue-screen comes up do not press anything and let it do the scan once it finds a virus press the option 2 which should delete all viruses.

After this scan it will boot into windows and should be virus clean.

Please go to task manager. In the application list, checkup that the something similar to that virus you know is running. Click on that program and press "End Task" from the bottom. When the program is terminated, remove the virus manually or using the antivirus.

I'd agree with this method, usually when a virus compromises your system, there shouldn't be much you want to do other than start fresh. it'll provide you with reassurance that no one is immediately spying on you.
