Virus detected in YahooMail by Avast

So, sometime my Avast antivirus detects some virus in the ads which you see in Yahoomail. Anyone else noticed it? It happens randomly. Like once in a while I open a new mail to see and suddenly my antivirus detects virus in the yahoo ads of email. There is no virus in the email because most inbox mail comes from good sites like amazon etc. Not sure how the ads in Yahoomail got virus or my antivirus is faulty. :p

I think Yahoo! got virus in their server. I'm using Avast! Internet Security now. Earlier I used free version for 4 years without any problem.
I have deleted my Yahoo! account now. I got a lots of spam emails. Used spam filter, but that didn't work out too.

Yeah, I use adblock too. Only whitelist trusted websites like DP :)
Also Avast! saved me many times from attacks while going for unknown websites.
But emails coming from trusted source shouldn't get virus. So Yahoo! Server is somehow responsible.

yah same here only few sites whitelisted and adbocler is must use extension because some website also push adware to all browser which I really hate and when you go to download file from any free file hosting site you will surely get confused which is real download button if you don't use adblocker.

If you visit any online movie website, then there is more chances to get virus or malware even if the website won't have virus, ads do have virus or malware. Once I felt pity on them & disabled adblock, so that they can earn from ads. But after facing malware problems I changed my mind.

Yahoo a multi billion search leader cannot have a virus. It may be in your own system.
