Virus affecting google search

I think I have a virus in my machine affecting google searches.

If I google any phrase and then click the search results, it takes me to spam pages instead of the link that I clicked.

This only happens when I click google serps.

Anyone ever hear of this? Any suggestions on removal?

Try Avast home edition for free virus protection and get SpyBot Search and Destroy (free) to remove your spyware.

You are probably using IE for browsing. Try firefox for less problems.
