virtual visa for online shopping?

    Good evening.

I am looking for a virtual visa card (or gift card, mastergift card etc) that I can use to shop in online stores.

I am outside US and need therefore a card that has an US billing adresse.

The best card would be the one that I can purchase and start shopping with immediately (f.ex. sending the cardnr and cvv2? thru email).

I have been looking around the net for 2 days now, not finding any without nowing they are legit or not.

Appreciate all respons, thanks in advance! ;)

    Thomas

Doesnt anybody know at least one site that is legit and sell US gift cards to non-US residents?

Since VCC sales are not allowed here on DP, this is probably not the best place to be asking about them.

Please excuse me if I'm being terribly naive, but I can't follow the logic here: why is the fact that you live outside the US a reason to need a card that has a US billing address? Other people living in other countries don't need a US address to shop online with a visa card, so why would you, Thomas?

Oh  I thought it meant just for own earnings.

Is it not allowed to talk about legit sites?

I dont want to buy from a private person.

Can I maybe get a hint on what I should search for or look at ?

    Sry for misunderstanding the rules.

The answer to that question is: bluefly(dot)com has a jacket I want to buy, but wont take credit cards that dont have an us billing adresse.

Also they dont send outside US, but I have a US-forwarding adresse!

There are also forwarding buisnesses that I can use that will actually pay for the items for me, but they are a little stiff on the prices so Im looking to get this as cheap as possible :).

The jacket I want is on reduced price, and also on sale.

    ;)

Thanks - I understand now. I suspect that your best bet might be to find a US-resident who's willing to buy it on your behalf and forward it to you (but I suppose that would mean double shipping). Or possibly you could call them and ask if they'll accept payment by Western Union (would also cost extra) or in some other form, rather than lose a potential customer?

    Hehe yeah your probably right.

But it would be great to have the card, beacause I will definetly buy in a similar online store again, probably the same :)

I really thought there was a change to buy it online, no wonder I have used 2 days searching without finding anything :(

The first result in Google for "virtual visa" is www.entropay.com.

I used Entropay to purchase a PS3 game from the US PlayStation store (which requires a US VISA with US address). I put 123 Wall Street or something as my address, and it all worked fine.

Not sure what you'd do about physical items that need to be shipped to your address though. My purchase was a download, so it didn't matter that my address was made up.

    I'll try it out thanks!

I thought since its a UK firm then it will show a UK address in the billing address area, when I buy on the net.

Didnt know that it is as easy as just putting in a new "fake" address.

That kinda is what Im looking for so I hope this will workout :)

    Thanks again!;)

Whoa...I was going to look around to see if I could create a virtual VISA somewhere since I've only got a Mastercard. Thanks for the URL
