Virtual Server and Google

    What if I have several websites that are hosted on one virtual server and are competing for the same niche keywords in Google? Would the same hosting location (virtual server) and similarity in keywords influence Google results? Is it better to host websites related to one industry on different hosting accounts?

    i have 3 servers. they all have the same number of unique domains on them. all the websites are in the same industry. I see no difference in the way google treats any of them. And my sites are in the <100,000 Alexa rank category so we get tons o google love.

    you should be fine... google realizes that between godaddy and some other big hosts... there's gunna be overlap
