Hello, I have a couple of questions about Virtual Desktops and I thought that you could help me out here First of all I’m using Win XP not Linux or anything like that (imho Linux has better options, on this problem of mine, than windows.. e.g. Beryl & Compiz are top!) and my questions are which is/are the best software, in your opinion always, to use to create some virtual desktops (I don't think I need more than 4..) and is there any option, on any of those softwares, to save it?.. I mean like I create 3 virtual desktops, 1 for work, 1 for gaming and 1 for general use, can I save those desktops I created so the next time I start my pc have them once again there waiting for me? I'm really sorry if my questions are stupid but I have no idea really lol Thanks, NwS PS: Excuse my English too I’m really tired atm -.-
I've used one such software for Virtual Desktop on Windows XP. In Linux (I used Fedore Core) its an inbuilt feature but its not the case with Windows. Chek out this : http://www.google.com/search?rls=en&q=Free+Virtual+desktop+windows+xp
I just read it lol. check out this http://www.typertappers.com/2007/05/02/computing/program_of_the_week/potw-yodm-3d.shtml
Heya thank you for your replies but i still have the question is there an option to separate the desktops and save them for later use?..
Is he wanting different user profiles? You can have one user for each one of those things, and have different things on the desktop.
