Hey there, I'm working on photoshop video tutorials website, and I know it's gonna need a lot of bandwidth. How much I'm not sure. Right now I have Dreamhost, but they have become really slow the last few months, and I was wondering if anyone knew of a hosting company or if you can host a site with the same space. with them I have 1TB of disk space and 10TB of bandwidth. So I mean, is there anyway to get that on a DS or VDS? Also, do I NEED a VDS or DS? Are there any hosters with that type of volume that still run fast and smooth? Please help me out quickly as my site is almost done being developed....
1TB disk space and 10TB bandwidth is a dedicated server, a huge one too, probably starting at a minimum of $400, no control panel. You can go for an oversold host offering unlimited this and unlimited that for $6 a month, but it's pointless. How much bandwidth and space do you really need? Well, it will be a video tutorial site, with probably 2-3 new video tutorials around 20 minutes long added each week. and i will be promoting on like tutorialized, tutorialquest, creative cow, etc. so ill be having large traffic. what do you think?
