There are a lot of companies with virtual assistance services. One most popular is the odesk. They have a strict rules for applicants and you can have a look for qualified prospects through their reviews from past clients.

I think you can find some good reference in some freelancer sites. Such as getafreelancer.com
There you have to create a project, so people will bid and you can choose Virtual assistant for you, there you can get low cost high quality service from the guys.... I hve used some of them... They are not companies, but individuals wrk from home.

Hey thanks for sharing the information. I'll surely look for them. Need just another help here. My colleague suggested me some taskescape.com. As compared to getafreelancer.com, taskescape.com looked a bit low. What say?. So I should suggest getafreelancer.com to my client.

    Thanks

One thought is to go someplace like Odesk.com (I've been pleased with them so far) and hire someone to do a project that you would expect a virtual assistant to do - say, article writing. Just spend a little time hiring people for individual jobs.

Once you find someone you like, THEN ask if they'd be interested in doing more long-term steady work as your VA.

If they're interested, at least you already know something about how they work - if they're not, you've STILL found a good person to outsource work to occasionally.
