I tried forever to get traffic to my websites and tried all types of gimmicks and websites that would guarantee traffic. I found out that getting consistent traffic is all about getting listed high on competitive keywords on search engines. To do this it is really more complicated and would take me forever to type it all out but you need good pagerank and links from websites that are relevant to your website. So if you website is about travel than try to get links from high PR travel websites. There are plenty of great posts so just search on the search thing above to find great posts about what you need.
