virgilio search engine ? anyone heard of it?

    all of a sudden as if out of no where i start getting traffic from virgilio.com which i guess is an italian search engine. Im getting 1000 hits a month from them. I wonder if its a popular engine over there or just one of the million bogus ones that send you dummy traffic to get your attention..
    any news on these people ?

    I would think they are legitimate, there alexa rank is 284!

    Is the traffic converting at all?

    I'm Italian.
    Virgilio and Arianna are the older italian serach engines.

    The serps are a mix with Google and the inside serach engine.

    When you say old, how far back are we taking?
