    Hello,i have been seeing people talking about viral marketing on social networks like Facebook,twitter etc?but i don't understand the term, "viral marketing" what exactly is this?And what are the basics steps of doing viral marketing on social networks?

    What is viral Marketing?

    What does a virus have to do with marketing? Viral marketing describes any strategy that encourages individuals to pass on a marketing message to others, creating the potential for exponential growth in the message's exposure and influence. Like viruses, such strategies take advantage of rapid multiplication to explode the message to thousands, to millions.

    Seem viral marketing already use in social network to replace they physical of world of mouth.
    In social network , it allow world of mouth spread even faster then expected.

    You should think for some marketing strategies that would let other people share your products or services. One good example is giving freebies.

    To Go Viral faster you need to have something with MASS appeal.
    if you have a giveaway or something that is TOP Quality then people will share your link and that is going viral.

    I Choose to use facebook games as one viral approach, by putting flash games in facebook with my ads. As people play they are encouraged to post the score and challenge friends. As people play the game and issue challenges and invites the word spreads. its amazing how fast it goes once it take hold.

    if what ur offering is goog (intersting, shoking etc) its gives much ,ore profit than PPC
    it spreads exponentially
